UN鈥檚 founding documents now freely available

The entire proceedings of the San Francisco Conference have been digitized by the Dag Hammarskj枚ld Library鈥檚 Digitization Team, and can now be accessed globally from the United Nations Digital Library. The collection is searchable by volume.

Statistical Yearbook

Digitization Update - Statistical Yearbook

To mark the launch of the Statistical Yearbook 2017, the Library鈥檚 Digitization Unit scanned 55 volumes of past issues referencing statistics of countries and regions dating back to 1948.

On 26 September 2017, during the observance of the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons, the UN General Assembly held a one-day high-level event, to address issues that pertain to disarmament and nuclear non-proliferation. To support delegates attending the event, the Library organised an outreach activity and repackaged several information products

Libraries and Sustainable Development

The UN Dag Hammarskj枚ld Library (DHL) recently organized a fireside chat with the (IFLA) during the .  The event brought together leaders from the library profession, UN development experts, and researchers from the (TASCHA) of the University of Washington, and set the stage leading up to the release of a new IFLA-commissioned report on (DA2I).

United Nations Digital Library

The United Nations Digital Library is here!

The (UNDL) is now available!  A result of the successful collaboration between the Dag Hammarskj枚ld Library and the United Nations Office at Geneva Library, the platform provides access to UN-produced materials in digital format free of charge.
