The Food Systems Summit has been an opportunity for youth to learn and increase awareness on food insecurity and nutrition: “The UNFSS has been an opportunity for me to amplify the work I started in and to grow a more global perspective for the challenges of food insecurity and the food system around the world,” says Janya.

The UN Food Systems Summit served as a historic opportunity to empower all people to leverage the power of food systems to drive our recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and get us back on track to achieve all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
